Once upon a time, there were some cozy little duck eggs. Warm and moist, they huddled together in the borrowed incubator, as faithful hands spritzed and turned them several times daily.
Then, one day, upon quiet investigation, there was a hard-working little duck, soundlessly, hopefully, in full silhouette, pecking away at the only home it had known...
